Ladies and gentlemen, be welcome to our little corner, to our world, to our space of thoughts, opinions, creativity and curiosities.

By now you should all wonder what is this about, who are we, and what are we going to write about here. 

First of all, let us introduce ourselves:

We are Gemma, Carolina, Karmina and Maria, all students of English philology. One day we were drinking a cup of tea (you know... we are English philologists, tea is important) and discussing about our things when one of us said: "Hey, why don't we start writing a blog together?". So here we are.

You may think that starting to write a blog is not something you decide just by saying "let's write things in a blog", that we don't know what we are doing and that we are crazy. But you know what? Crazy people like us decide to write a blog just by saying "let's write things in a blog".

What are we going to talk about?

As we are students of English philology, you may think "Ok, they are going to talk about the English language". Let us tell you that English philology is not only about the English language. English philology, and philologies in general, are about our world. Communication, literature, history, cultures, feelings, thoughts... to sum up: human being.

So yes, maybe we talk about the English language, but also about literature, about cultures, about feelings, about creativity, about thoughts... about our world. Maybe one day you find that one of us is talking about how English is acquired, maybe another day one of us is talking about a book, maybe another day one of us writes a short story... or maybe we just go crazy and write about crazy things.

So what are we going to talk about? Easy, about whatever we want that concerns our world.

Will it be interesting? We don't know, we just write for pleasure and to spread knowledge. You will be the ones who decide that. We give you the power to decide if our craziness is interesting to you. You will have a section in which you will be able to leave your comments, thoughts, etc.

For the moment, we just want you to enjoy every word of this blog and we hope to make you think, to make you want to say something, to make you feel something. 

To conclude our introduction, we will leave here the poem that inspired the title of this blog, written by Dorothy Wordsworth. Enjoy it!

Floating island

Harmonious Powers with Nature work

Senyores i senyors, sigueu benvinguts al nostre petit racó, al nostre món, al nostre espai de pensaments, opinions, creativitat i curiositats.

Ara mateix, deveu estar pensant sobre què va això, qui som i sobre què escriurem aquí.

Primer de tot, permeteu-nos presentar-nos:

Som la Gemma, la Carolina, la Karmina i la Maria, totes estudiants de filologia anglesa. Un dia estàvem prenent un tè (ja sabeu... som filòlogues angleses, el tè és important) i parlant sobre les nostres coses quan una de nosaltres va dir: "Ei, per què no comencem a escriure un blog juntes?". I aquí estem.

Deveu estar pensant que començar a escriure un blog no és una cosa que es decideix només dient "anem a escriure coses en un blog", que no sabem el que estem fent i que estem boges. Però sabeu què? La gent boja com nosaltres decideix escriure un blog només dient "anem a escriure coses en un blog".

De què parlarem?

Com que som estudiants de filologia anglesa, deveu estar pensant "D'acord, parlaran sobre la llengua anglesa". Deixeu que us diguem que la filologia anglesa no és només sobre la llengua anglesa. La filologia anglesa, i totes les filologies en general, són sobre el nostre món. Comunicació, literatura, història, cultures, sentiments, pensament... en resum: l'ésser humà.

Així que sí, potser parlem sobre la llengua anglesa, però també sobre literatura, sobre cultures, sobre sentiments, sobre creativitat, sobre pensaments... sobre el nostre món. Potser un dia us trobeu que una de nosaltres parla sobre com s'adquireix l'anglès, potser un altre dia una de nosaltres parla sobre un llibre, potser una altre dia una de nosaltres escriu una història curta... o potser simplement ens tornem boges i escrivim sobre coses boges.

Llavors, sobre què parlarem? Fàcil, sobre el que volguem que tingui a veure amb el nostre món.

Serà interessant? No ho sabem, només escrivim per plaer i per compartir coneixement. Sereu vosaltres els que ho decidireu. Us donem el poder de decidir si la nostra bogeria és interessant per vosaltres. Tindreu una secció en la qual podreu deixar comentaris, pensaments, etc.

De moment, només volem que gaudiu de cada paraula d'aquest blog i esperem fer-vos pensar, fer-vos voler dir alguna cosa, fer-vos sentir alguna cosa.

Per acabar la nostra presentació, us deixem a dalt el poema que ha inspirat el títol d'aquest blog, escrit per Dorothy Wordsworth. Gaudiu-lo!

Señoras y señores, sed bienvenidos a nuestro pequeño rincón, a nuestro mundo, a nuestro espacio de pensamientos, opiniones, creatividad y curiosidades.

Ahora mismo debéis estar pensando sobre qué va esto, quién somos y sobre qué vamos a escribir aquí.

Primero de todo, permitidnos presentarnos:

Somos Gemma, Carolina, Karmina y Maria, todas estudiantes de filología inglesa. Un día, estábamos tomando un té (ya sabéis... somos filólogas inglesas, el té es importante) y hablando sobre nuestras cosas cuando una de nosotras dijo: "Ey, ¿por qué no empezamos a escribir un blog juntas?". Y aquí estamos.

Debéis estar pensando que empezar a escribir un blog no es algo que se decida diciendo simplemente "vamos a escribir cosas en un blog", que no sabemos lo que hacemos y que estamos locas. Pero ¿sabéis qué? La gente loca como nosotras decide escribir un blog simplemente diciendo "vamos a escribir cosas en un blog".

¿Sobre qué hablaremos?

Como somos estudiantes de filología inglesa, debéis estar pensando "De acuerdo, hablarán sobre la lengua inglesa". Dejadnos deciros que la filología inglesa no es solo sobre la lengua inglesa. La filología inglesa, y las filologías en general, son sobre nuestro mundo. Comunicación, literatura, historia, culturas, sentimientos, pensamientos... en resumen: el ser humano.

Así que sí, quizás hablamos sobre la lengua inglesa, pero también sobre literatura, sobre culturas, sobre sentimientos, sobre creatividad, sobre pensamientos... sobre nuestro mundo. Quizás un día una de nosotras habla sobre cómo se adquiere el inglés, quizás otro día una de nosotras habla sobre un libro, quizás otro día una de nosotras escribe una historia corta... o quizás simplemente nos volvemos locas y escribimos sobre cosas locas.

Entonces, ¿sobre qué hablaremos? Fácil, sobre lo que queramos que tenga que ver con nuestro mundo.

¿Será interesante? No lo sabemos, simplemente escribimos por placer y para compartir conocimiento. Seréis vosotros los que lo decidáis. Os damos el poder de decidir si nuestra locura os parece interesante. Tendréis una sección en la que podréis dejar vuestros comentarios, pensamientos, etc.

Por el momento, simplemente queremos que disfrutéis de cada palabra de este blog y esperamos haceros pensar, haceros querer decir algo, haceros sentir algo.
